St Lucia Waterfalls vary from small sputtering waterfalls that are hidden scenic treasures, to waterfalls where the water drops amazingly over the tall cliffs, each is as stunning as the other.

St. Lucia stands out as one of the most mountainous islands in the Caribbean.

Its mountainous landscape along with the heavy rainfall it experiences during its wet season, make it an ideal place where you will find an abundance of beautiful waterfalls.

We’ve visited all the accessible St Lucia Waterfalls. Here are the best that we’ve explored.
 

Diamond Falls

The Diamond Falls is in the Diamond Botanical Gardens in the town of Soufriere.

It is a standout amongst other St Lucia Waterfalls. It is also the most popular.

Water that rises from underneath the ground at the sulfur springs – St Lucia’s drive-in volcano, stream down over the cliff side forming the waterfall known as the diamond falls.

At the Botanical Gardens, there is also a mineral bath, a nature trail for nature lovers, an old sugar mill factory which tells a story about St. Lucia’s rich history.

 

Errand Falls

One of the tallest waterfalls can be found on the east side of St. Lucia in the district of Dennery.

The Errand Falls also known as the Dennery Falls, or Sault Falls has a fantastic drop of approximately 55 feet.

Errand falls is isolated from the town of Dennery.  So, to get there, you will need to hike through a nature trail.

Visitors usually hike the nature trail in groups accompanied by an informed guide.

What makes this location an even bigger attraction is close to a zipline nature park where you can zipline through the treetops.

 

Enbas Saut Falls

Enbas Saut Falls can be found at the base of the tallest mountain in St. Lucia – Mount Gimie.

In all the St Lucia Waterfalls, it’s the least accessible.

Mount Gimie is located in the heart of one of St. Lucia’s largest rain forest reserves.

If you want to visit this magnificent waterfall, you will need an experienced tour guide or St. Lucian native who knows the place.

To get to the waterfall will require a two-hour hike through the rainforest.

When you get to Enbas Saut falls you will witness two captivating waterfalls – one above the other that fall into large pools where you can take a dip.

 

Piton Waterfalls

Piton Waterfalls is located within one of St. Lucia’s most prominent attractions – The Pitons. It’s one of the most scenic places in St. Lucia-it’s amazingly beautiful.

You’ll find piton falls on the way Jalousie plantation which is a five-star resort located between the two pitons.

Piton falls has a roughly 35 feet drop into a clean bathing pool.

The water is fresh, cold and will give you the ultimate bathing experience in water from St. Lucia’s rain forest.

If you decide to visit the Piton falls, you find lots of restaurants, bars and places to chill out along the way.

After a bath at the Piton falls, you can also go ziplining at the Morne Coubaril Historical Adventure Park.

 

La Tille Waterfall

The La Tille Waterfall is perhaps the most impressive of the St Lucia Waterfalls.

It has the largest volume of water dropping approximately 20 feet into a huge pool.

The pool at the La Tille falls is notably very deep – the deepest of all the waterfalls on the island.

As water leaves the pool and flows further down the river, it forms many other natural pools along the way that you can explore and take a dip.

You will find the La Tille Waterfall on the east coast of St. Lucia near the village of Micoud.

It is located towards the interior of the island within the lush rain forest.

There is also a nature trail that local guides use to take visitors to La Tille Waterfall.

 

Toraille Waterfall (Best of the St Lucia Waterfalls)

The Toraille Waterfall is St. Lucia’s most attractive and most visited waterfall of all the St Lucia Waterfalls.

It is part of a natural heritage site in a beautifully maintained area.

Toraille Waterfall is also one of St. Lucia’s biggest waterfalls with water cascading more than 50 feet into a large pool.

The sight and sound of the water flowing over the cliff and hitting the plug pool will get you excited about taking a dip in the natural swimming pool.

Many visitors enjoy standing under the waterfall.

This gives you a unique relaxing feeling when the water drops on your body and massages your skin.

The Toraille waterfall can be found in Soufriere on the way to a community call Fond St. Jacques, in a location that is easily accessible from the main road.

The location also includes changing rooms and restrooms.

There are also many local vendors selling crafts and souvenirs at the entrance of the location.
