Go Zip Lining in St. Lucia. And 5 Reasons Why You Should Do It

If you’re visiting St. Lucia on holiday, there is a wealth of things to do, so boredom is not an option. But, if you’re seeking to do things that are a little more adventurous than lounging on a beach, then do yourself a favor and consider zip lining in St. Lucia.

Zip lining is not just for adventure seekers – it’s a great way to see beautiful views of St. Lucia.

You will see tropical forest vistas, towering mountains, and get a breathtaking admiration of the land as you zip line high above it.

There is no better way to see the landscape than to get a proper view of it from above; you can get so much more of a sense of a place when you see it from a bird’s eye view.

There are a few nature parks where you can go zip lining in St. Lucia.

Most will offer taxi pickup, and drop off at your accommodation.  You can also choose from many tour operators to arrange a round trip transfer, depending on where you want to go zip lining in St. Lucia.

Here are the three nature parks in St. Lucia where you can go Ziplining.

Treetop Adventure Park

Treetop Adventure Park contains St Lucia’s longest, fastest and highest zip lines.

You will sail through a magnificent view of the lush tropical rainforest, and enjoy exploring the place via a network of 12 zip lines, 20 platforms, four hiking trails and a rope bridge.

A transfer to this nature park from your accommodation lasts up to about 40 minutes, depending on your location.

On arrival at the nature park, guides will give you safety equipment, and a briefing on what to expect. You will then be let loose on the ziplines.

Juice and bottled water will be provided to keep you hydrated. You can also purchase extra drinks at the nature park.

The zip line course lasts about an hour, so it won’t be too taxing and will almost certainly leave you wanting more!

Rainforest Adventures

Rainforest adventures provide a 4 and a half hour trip through some beautiful scenery via a hike through the forest and a zip line tour.

You will start your journey on an aerial tram, which will glide through the rainforest giving you a chance to spot exotic rainforest wildlife.

Once you’ve reached the most elevated location in the park, your guide will assist you with getting into your safety gear and the first zip line.

There are ten zip lines, so you will be sure to get lots of adrenaline pumping excitement while sailing through the air as you take in the gorgeous scenery.

As you get to the last zip line, you will once again meet the aerial tram which will take you back to where you started. On the way down, be sure to check out fantastic panoramic views of the whole Northern side of St Lucia.

Morne Coubaril

If you want a shorter zip lining experience in St. Lucia, Morne Coubaril may well be the right choice.

It offers a one hour tour over eight zip lines, which will give you a stunning view of the Pitons, the town of Soufriere, and the Caribbean Sea itself as you fly around the estate.

Many tour operators can take you to Morne Coubaril, and once there you will be well taken care of by a dedicated guide.

Your guide will also provide you with full safety gear, and brief you about the entire experience.
